Musongati got themselves behind with twenty minutes of play after Kayanza United skipper netted a well taken penalty to give them the lead .Five minutes later, Musongati capitalised on defense mix up at the back before equalizing the scores .

Kayanza United controlled the tempo of the match with several chances going unused ,the first half ended in a draw before a mistake at the back gave Musongati Fc a penalty that settled the scores .
