VG ELITE Finishes Strong to Defeat ALL GAS NO BRAKES, 66-61

ROAD TOWN, Virgin Islands — VG ELITE used a dominant fourth-quarter performance to rally past ALL GAS NO BRAKES 66-61 on Sunday night at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex, improving to 4-1 on the season.

Trailing 53-44 entering the final period, VG ELITE erupted for 22 fourth-quarter points while holding ALL GAS NO BRAKES to just eight, completing a dramatic comeback victory.

Stephon Caul led VG ELITE with a game-high 17 points, seven rebounds, three blocks, and one assist. Kimron T. added 12 points, three rebounds, and two steals, while Stephano Paul contributed 10 points and two rebounds. Demron G provided six points and eight rebounds, and Shamar G chipped in five points, six rebounds, and four blocks as VG ELITE's defense anchored the late rally.

VG ELITE's defensive pressure proved decisive down the stretch, recording seven blocks and 11 steals while limiting ALL GAS NO BRAKES to a single field goal over key stretches of the fourth quarter.

ALL GAS NO BRAKES was led by Nkel Stevens, who posted 14 points, a game-high 13 rebounds, one assist, two steals, and a block. Alec Leonard added 12 points and seven rebounds, while Amarlee Glasgow finished with 10 points, two rebounds, and two assists. Xiiomar Gunn recorded nine points, 11 rebounds, and three assists, and James Harris contributed six points and six rebounds.

Despite outrebounding VG ELITE 47-40, ALL GAS NO BRAKES struggled offensively in the closing minutes as the comeback slipped away. The loss dropped ALL GAS NO BRAKES to 1-4 on the season.

With the victory, VG ELITE continued its strong campaign and showcased its ability to close out games under pressure, using a balanced attack and timely defense to secure the five-point win.
