VG ELITE Pulls Away from LOS TRINITARIOS Behind Stephano’s Big Night, 88-68

ROAD TOWN, Virgin Islands — VG ELITE used a dominant second half and a balanced scoring attack to defeat LOS TRINITARIOS 88-68 on Friday night at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex, improving to 2-1 on the season.

After a tight opening quarter, VG ELITE took control in the second period, outscoring LOS TRINITARIOS 29-16 to build momentum. The home team never looked back, extending the lead through the third and fourth quarters to secure a comfortable win.

Stephano Paul led VG ELITE with a game-high 28 points, adding five rebounds and three assists while knocking down three three-pointers. Jilani contributed 17 points and nine rebounds, while Demron G posted 16 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and a steal. Kasean W. added nine points and four rebounds, and Lavonne Harris chipped in eight points, five rebounds, and two steals. Lekoy Lennard also finished with eight points, five rebounds, and three assists, helping VG ELITE’s balanced offensive effort.

VG ELITE finished with 19 assists and strong interior control, allowing them to steadily pull away after halftime.

LOS TRINITARIOS was led by Wayne O’neal, who scored 17 points on three three-pointers while also adding two rebounds and two blocks. Javin Wattley contributed 12 points and a rebound, while Jah Jah Daniel added 11 points, five rebounds, and an assist. Nelson Rhymer recorded eight points, seven rebounds, three assists, and two blocks, and Kiejuan Barzey added seven points, three rebounds, and three assists.

Despite competitive stretches from LOS TRINITARIOS, who dropped to 0-3, VG ELITE’s offensive depth and second-half execution proved decisive in the 20-point victory.
